The Four Corners region

The church serves southwest Colorado and the Four Corners, where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico meet. Nearby towns include Cortez and Dolores in Colorado, Durango to the east, Moab and Monticello in Utah, and Farmington in New Mexico.

It is a land of deep sacred history. Mesa Verde National Park preserves the cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo people.3 Hovenweep National Monument protects Ancestral Puebloan towers on the Colorado–Utah border, and Canyons of the Ancients National Monument protects the highest known density of archaeological sites in the United States.45 The Four Corners Monument, on Navajo Nation land, marks the meeting point of the four states.6 Please treat these places, and the peoples who hold them sacred, with respect.
